BENNY HAVENS , up close outside horses down the backstretch, stayed three to four wide around the turn, took command in upper stretch and drew clear under a brisk hand ride. BORLETTI (IRE) dueled outside STONE COLD JONES down the backstretch, gained a short lead mid way on the turn, was hooked by the winner in upper stretch and continued gamely while second best. STONE COLD JONES , sent to the front mid way down the backstretch, remained along the rail, faltered turning for home and was eased.
