HELDISH chased the early pace while three wide then loomed to challenge at the 1/4 pole before lugging in under a right handed stick and bothered ADDY'S LADDY T N T while brushing BACKNTHEWOODS at the 1/8 pole then straightened out and drew clear in the final yards. BACKNTHEWOODS was hustled up and set the early pace before being headed at the 1/4 pole and battled into the stretch before being brushed at the 1/8 pole by HELDISH then ran on late for place. ADDY'S LADDY T N T got away alertly and raced close up before making a bid between horses at the top of the stretch but was shut off at the 1/8 pole when HELDISH lugged in then altered to the outside of that runner and was gaining late. THE COUNT IS ON was hustled away for position before being steadied nearing the 1/2 pole and shuffled back then altered seven wide into the stretch and made a mild rally late, then was reported by stewards to be visibly bleeding from the nostrils when returned to unsaddle. WIN NO JOKE settled along the inside and waited into the turn then was asked into the stretch and showed some run late. SUPER ACCELERATE got pinballed at the start and dropped back then waited before circling five wide into the stretch and made a bid but faltered. THE RIDER OF ADDY'S LADDY T N T CLAIMED FOUL AGAINST THE RIDER OF HELDISH ALLEGING INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH. THE STEWARDS ALSO CONDUCTED AN INQUIRY BUT AFTER REVIEW NO CHANGE WAS MADE.
