ONE WHIRLWIND RIDE , sent to the early lead, set the pace slightly off the rail and dug in tenaciously under brisk urging. TIDAL FORCES stalked the pace three wide around the turn and rallied. NOBLE JON worked between horses on the turn, moved to the five path in upper stretch and rallied outside horses. ISLAND D'LITE , four deep on the turn, drifted in near the eighth pole and flattened out along the inner rail. THE BULLION BOMBER (IRE) chased the winner from the three path and weakened. SPEAK UNITY lacked speed, raced between horses and passed tired ones. SLIPPIN JIMMY lacked speed worked between horses through the stretch and failed to menace. PIT STOP MAN , taken to the inner rail leaving the backstretch, remained along the rail and weakened. LADDIE DANCE , wide on the turn, was outrun. LIKEBELIVINGNMAGIC chased the winner to the stretch and faltered.
