Footnotes
GUNG HO rated off the inside and off of a contested pace, ramped things up leaving the far turn, boldly moved three wide mid turn and took aim on the embattled leaders, moved to command outside BERNIE THE STAR nearing mid stretch, switched over to his correct lead with a sixteenth to go and drew out while kept to task. FAROOQ settled off the pace while saving some ground, worked outward into the lane, shifted further out in mid stretch and finished with good energy to be clear of the rest. BERNIE THE STAR sped clear early, set the pace towards the inside, was joined into the turn, dueled from the three eighths to the quarter pole, ceded command near mid stretch and weakened. KNUCKER PUNK steadied at the break, lagged well back into and around the turn, came very wide through the drive and finished with interest. SHOWPIECE drafted back off the pace, saved ground leaving the five sixteenths, eased out into the stretch and finished with good energy between rivals. KARMA'S INTHEHOUSE prompted the pace outside the leader, bid two wide leaving the far turn, dueled on near even terms past the five sixteenths, failed to kick on exiting the furlong grounds and weakened. ECUMENICAL , four to five wide, failed to generate a serious run. WILEY WILLARD bobbled at the break, regrouped and showed speed between foes, rated back off the leaders nearing the half, saved ground pursuing past the three eighths, stopped leaving mid stretch and was eased late.
