SUN ABOVE , steadied when forced in by VIGNON MANOR leaving the starting gate, rated behind horses down the backstretch, eased out on the turn, floated to the six path at the head of the lane, closed outside horses, led near the sixteenth pole and drove clear. LEVERAGE bore out entering the first turn, raced in the five path in upper stretch, worked between horses in the drive and rallied. VIGNON MANOR bore in at the start, was rank approaching the first turn, prompted the pace two wide, gained a short lead in upper stretch, drifted out near the eighth pole, drifted in soon after and weakened. RED DAWN COMING , carried wide by LEVERAGE entering the first turn, trailed to the far turn, came into the lane in the three path, swung outside in mid stretch and rallied. SHAKIN MY HEAD , carried wide by DYNAFLAME entering the first turn, worked between horses in the stretch and was checked when shut off by VIGNON MANOR in mid stretch. MIDAS FACTOR set the pace near the inner rail and weakened the final furlong. GOODLUCK ROAD , a forward factor, stayed near the inner rail throughout and weakened. PLAY IT COOL , inside horses entering the far turn, checked near the three eighths pole and was lightly steadied in traffic near the sixteenth pole. DYNAFLAME bore out entering the first turn, gave way the far turn and was eased. Following a stewards' inquiry and an objection by the rider of SHAKIN MY HEAD, VIGNON MANOR was disqualified and placed fifth. An objection by the rider of SHAKIN MY HEAD against LEVERAGE for alleged interference in mid stretch was not allowed.
