Footnotes
IN HONOR OF JEFF stumbled badly at the break, regrouped and raced four wide, advanced four wide under pressure into the lane, sustained a grinding run while under right handed asking in deep stretch, took over nearing the wire then narrowly denied and inside bid from LINO'S FIRE. LINO'S FIRE , well back early, angled five wide with momentum into the lane, edged up past the furlong grounds, shifted in and closed gamely under left handed encouragement to just miss. MY LITTLE NICO G prompted a quick pace three wide, bid three deep mid turn, moved to a clear lead leaving mid stretch, was taken on from both sides in deep stretch and gave way grudgingly. RED SPITFIRE bore in at the break bothering inner foes, corrected and was sent up between runners to take command, secured the inside into the turn and took outer pressure, dueled into the lane, stayed on willingly past mid stretch then faded. TITANIO had speed and prompted the pace two wide, dueled between foes past the five sixteenths and into the lane, could not go with the leaders in mid stretch and weakened. RIVERMONT DR broke slowly, lagged far back, swung very wide for the drive and offered a belated run. GO LANG , three to four wide pursuing, weakened in upper stretch. RUNAWAY ROOSTER flashed speed, chased outside a rival then briefly between foes mid turn, angled four wide into the stretch and faded. WINNING HAND , forced in at the break, dropped off the pace while saving ground, angled out and failed to respond. THE TRUE EGOIST , forced in at the break, corrected and rushed up inside foes, wrangled back off rivals leaving the five eighths, chased and gave way.
