Footnotes
BODE'S MAKER lacked speed, circled horses the far turn, was fanned six deep at the head of the stretch, closed determinedly outside horses, took the led inside the sixteenth pole and drove clear. DRAKON prompted the pace outside MORE THAN WORK, overtook that one in upper stretch and gave way grudgingly. KENDAMA raced in mid pack the far turn, moved to the five path in upper stretch and rallied. GENERAL'S DUTY circled rivals the far turn, was well placed four wide entering the stretch and flattened out. FREESTANDING , rank while three wide the first turn, raced between horses turning for home and weakened. PASSIONED bore in leaving the starting gate, stayed along the inner rail stalking the pace down the backsttetch and weakened in the drive. CLAUDEE BOY , pinched back at the start, was rank entering the first turn and failed to be a factor. MORE THAN WORK assumed the early lead, set the pace along the rail and faltered the final furlong. UPSIDEDOWN MAN trailed.
