Footnotes
BROWN SUGAR BETTY settled early along the inside and made a rail bid at the 3/8 pole to move into contention before splitting horses at the 1/4 pole then rallied and drew clear. PARIS BY NIGHT was hustled up and set the early pace then led to the stretch before running on while second best. HAPPY ENCOUNTER settled along the rail early then was urged to contend nearing the 3/8 pole before altering eight wide at the top of the stretch and was gaining late. PELICAN PIER broke sharply and stalked the early pace then chased through the turn before giving way in the stretch. SHESAREALPROBLEM rated in the middle of the pack early with a four wide trip then was urged to challenge nearing the 1/2 pole and made a brief bid but faltered in the stretch. THICK BUT QUICK chased the pace between horses early before being ridden along through the turn then angled seven wide into the stretch but made no rally late. TUVANA was reluctant to load into the gate then was void of early speed while racing off the rail and never threatened. LITTLE LOGAN raced close up early with a three wide trip on the backstretch, flashing brief foot but faded.
