HAD TO HAVE HIM rated kindly while inside foes heading to the turn, eased out approaching the three eighths, circled four wide into the lane, closed in under right handed asking, switched over to his left lead with a furlong remaining, took over a sixteenth out, edged away slightly then held firm. WHENIGETTOHEAVEN , with the pace three deep, challenged between runners nearing mid stretch, failed to match strides with the outer winner but kept on well to save the place. GREAT IDEA , between rivals early, was rated back and dropped inside leaving the far turn, crept up past the three sixteenths, worked outward for the final furlong and closed willingly. TIDEWATER , a bit fractious in the gate pre race, came away in good order and took command soon after, secured the inside and set a rated pace, pulled his way clear nearing the three eighths, clung to the lead under a drive past the three sixteenths, failed to contain outer bids nearing the sixteenth pole and faded. KATIE'S NOTION broke a bit slow, raced three deep nearing the turn, shifted out near mid stretch but failed to drum up the needed kick. NOAH CHANCE prompted the pace between runners, was under pressure soon into the lane, stayed willingly to mid stretch then weakened late.
