BASIC MILES , saved ground the first turn, rated between horses on the backstretch and around the far turn, eased outside in mid stretch, closed strongly and was up near the finish. HOMESTEAD disputed the pace outside MUSICAL ENTOURAGE, moved to the inner rail in upper stretch after that one opened a clear lead and gamely came again. MUSICAL ENTOURAGE dueled along the inner rail, drifted out when clear in upper stretch and wilted in deep stretch. DATS TAP , three wide both turns, took aim on the lead entering the stretch and flattened out. GORDITO hugged the inner rail down the backstretch and around the far turn, worked between horses in the stretch and lacked the necessary response. MOONLIT FROST stayed along the inner rail stalking the pace down the backstretch and around the far turn then gave way. D HOPPER , up close in the two path between horses on the far turn, weakened through the stretch. SHANE FALCO , four wide leaving the far turn, weakened. DOUG'S TRIUMPH was outrun after breaking awkwardly. CHOCOLATE BROWNIE , wide the far turn, was not a factor. BLUE REGALIA was outrun. APOLAUSTIC trailed.
