JUNGLE GLOW settled off the pace early, launched a bid at the three-furlong pole, advanced three wide to challenge at the head of the stretch, brushed with JAMALAMADINGDONG in upper stretch, and forged clear through the final sixteenth. JAMALAMADINGDONG broke on top and maintained a narrow advantage to the turn, entered the stretch under threat from JUNGLE GLOW, battled briefly to mid-stretch, then yielded in the final furlong while staying on under strong handling to hold the place spot. BRIGHTSHININGLIGHT stumbled leaving the gate, recovered to join the early pace mix, became boxed in through the turn, slipped through an opening along the rail entering the lane, was outkicked, but offered a game effort to secure a clear third. ENDURING GOLD was outpaced early, unhurried at the back of the pack inside of ISLAND D'LITE, swung four to five wide for the stretch run, and made steady headway without threatening the top trio. YES I WILL broke outward, hustled to gain a prominent position, pressed the pace three wide, came under a ride late on the turn, tipped out to the four-path entering the stretch, then ran erratically under urging and faltered. ISLAND D'LITE dropped back after an even break, tracked from the rear along the outside of ENDURING GOLD, and lacked a response when called upon.
