Footnotes
BARBADIAN RUNNER stayed along the inner rail stalking the pace down the backstretch, moved to the two path entering the far turn, swung wide leaving the turn, was floated out by SACRED THUNDER in upper stretch, took command approaching the eighth pole, drew away under a hand ride and drifted in near the sixteenth pole. SACRED THUNDER , a forward factor outside horses down the backstretch, advanced in the three path to take the lead inside the three eighths pole, drifted out in upper stretch, was no match for the winner and finished nicely to be well clear of the rest. MARKET MAVEN failed to make the early lead despite brisk encouragement, eased off the rail leaving the backstretch, circled the far turn three wide, had room inside the top pair in upper stretch and lacked the necessary rally. WICKEDDIVINE chased outside horses down the backstretch, gained a brief lead near the three eighths pole, remained prominent to upper stretch and tired. OMAR COMIN lacked speed, raced inside horses on the far turn, altered course to the outside in mid stretch and finished wilingly. IN THE DANCE bumped with DAVYJONZ leaving the starting gate, was outrun and entered the far turn between rivals. DAVYJONZ bumped with IN THE DANCE at the start, was not a factor and raced wide on the far turn. GOODBYE NOTE sped to the early lead and was taken to the inner rail, was over hauled entering the far turn, faltered and was eased.
