FORTUNE HILL prompted the pace outside SALTWATER CREW, took the lead and went clear in upper stretch and held sway under steady handling. DANNER bumped MANTUA MAN when bearing out at the start, worked between horses in the stretch and rallied. HONORARY AMERICAN (IRE) , void of speed, raced very wide leaving the turn and rallied outside foes. SALTWATER CREW set a pressured pace along the inner rail and weakened. TAMARIN , caught in tight quarters along the inner rail entering the turn, remained inside horses and failed to rally. MANTUA MAN , fractious in the starting gate, was soundly bumped at the start, began to advance in mid stretch and was caught in traffic inside the eighth pole. STAR ATLAS bumped with VIDA leaving the starting gate, swung outside near the sixteenth pole and showed a late move. SHORT BURN lightly bumped with MANTUA MAN leaving the starting gate then was not a factor. VIDA bumped with STAR ATLAS at the start, chased three wide around the turn and weakened. LONG STRAW was outrun. POWER BY EIGHT broke slowly and was outrun. CHARGE IT BABY , wide around the turn, faltered.
