Footnotes
I HEARD SOMETHINGS stalked the pace just off the inner rail, swung outside horses in mid stretch, closed determinedly and was up at the wire. HYSTERICS raced mid pack for six furlongs, was four deep leaving the far turn and rallied outside rivals. LYRIC STREET moved to the inner rail after sprinting clear on the first turn, set the pace to mid stretch and gave way grudgingly. CLOSE UP , three wide the first turn, chased the pace outside LYRIC STREET, bid for the lead in mid stretch and finished gamely. NOBODY'S GIRL bore out leaving the starting gate, stayed along the inner rail and failed to rally in an even effort. PROFESSOR GRACE , unhurried after being pinched back leaving the starting gate, trailed to the stretch, swung outside in mid stretch and passed tired foes. TEA ROSE , rank at the break, raced four wide on the turns and was no factor. SERIOUS LADY , inside horses most of the trip, weakened. FEEL THE BOLT , three deep chasing the pace down the backstretch, gave way in upper stretch. MOON BABY was outrun.
