Footnotes
LUCKED IN , rated behind horses down the backstretch, eased outside on the turn, was fanned five deep entering the stretch, closed outside horses and took the lead in deep stretch. KEEN SURGE , up closed behind horses in the two path on the turn, eased out to the four path in upper stretch, bid for the lead while drifting out near the sixteenth pole and just missed. TWICE GOLD advanced three deep on the turn, gained a clear lead turning for home and weakened the final sixteenth of a mile. WITH FULL HONORS , three wide on the turn, drifted to the four path turning for home and failed to menace. RETURN FIRE prompted the pace outside HACKSAW RIDGE and weakened. RIGHT OF RUSH hugged the inner rail and dropped back. HACKSAW RIDGE stumbled at the start, rushed up along the inner rail to take the lead mid way down the backstretch, remained along the rail and tired on the turn. PURE REALIZATION was outrun.
