DOUBLE AIRO sprinted to the early lead, saved ground around the turn, was well clear turning for home and held sway under brisk urging. SASSAFRASSNESS , a forward factor down the backstretch, circled horses three deep leaving the turn, took aim on the leader in mid stretch and flattened out. KILO ROAD , off last, was checked when bumped by PINOTSLILIGIRL leaving the starting gate, failed to be a factor along the rail and swung to the four path turning for home. GOLDEN ROCKET , kept four to six wide on the turn, was outrun. PINOTSLILGIRL bumped KILO ROAD when forced in by CHASING SUNSETS leaving the starting gate, hugged the inner rail on the turn, bumped with CHASING SUNSETS at the head of the stretch then retreated. CHASING SUNSETS bore in on PINOTSLILGIRL leaving the starting gate, chased the pace, bumped with that rival and was checked when caught in close quarters inside SASSAFRASSNESS at the top of the lane then dropped back. An objection by the rider of PINOTSLILIGIRL against SASSAFRASSNESS for alleged interference entering the stretch was not allowed.
