SHEAR MAGIC stayed in the two path around the turn behind horses, worked his way out to the four path in mid stretch, closed outside horses and took the lead in deep stretch. NANCIE'S BOY chased the leader around the turn, gained the lead outside ELON near the eighth pole and gave way grudgingly. TWIRLING EXPRESS , very wide on the turn, floated to the seven path in upper stretch and rallied. ELON broke slowly, rushed down the backstretch, gained a five deep lead approaching the turn, opened up leaving the turn and faded the final furlong. NEW YORK STRONG lacked speed worked between horses through the stretch and rallied mildly. DATS TAP chased the pace from the two path around the turn and weakened in the drive. BASIC TRUTH , wide on the turn, floated to the six path in upper stretch and failed to rally. JUST FOR GIGGLES , three deep on the turn, weakened. STEWBALL , a forward factor along the inner rail, chased the pace and gave way. GO TO BINGO was no factor.
