Footnotes
CODE OF SILENCE lagged well back while under a ride and saving ground, gained along the rail nearing the quarter pole, angled out five wide soon into the lane, closed stoutly under pressure, reeled in the leader near the sixteenth pole and drew out. SKILLIAN broke a tad slow, quickly recovered and pulled his way forward outside rivals to take command clear heading to the half, set the pace off the inside, kept on under a drive past mid stretch, failed to contain the winner but kept on with good effort. CASEOFTHEMONDAYS bumped with an outer rival while chasing between foes past the five eighths, pursued off the rail around the turn and came up empty. LITTLE LINO broke inward, corrected and was sent up to the inside to briefly contest the pace, chased inside around the turn and faded. GOLDEN KID , four to five wide and ridden along past the three eighths, lacked a bid. MAKE IT QUICK was lightly steadied off the winner's heels when that one moved to command from his outside, bumped with an inner foe leaving the five eighths, failed to respond mid turn, faltered and was eased late.
