Footnotes
EL TINMARIN saved ground around the turn, moved to the two path in upper stretch, split horses inside the eighth pole, led late and narrowly prevailed. KING COVEE , steadied on heels leaving the backstretch and into the turn, raced wide on the turn, floated to the seven path in upper stretch and rallied. WAR HUMOR chased the pace outside horses, was five deep in upper stretch, gained the lead near the eighth pole and weakened. TWIRLING EXPRESS , caught behind a wall of horses in upper stretch, swung outside in mid stretch and passed tired rivals. WIFFLEBALL , rated back from between horses leaving the backstretch, came into the stretch in three path, bid for the lead in mid stretch then weakened. BENNY HAVENS lacked speed, raced in the six path in upper stretch and lacked a rally. SAME DAY AS L J disputed the pace stayed in the two path on the turn and faltered the final furlong. NIGHT PREACHER rushed up along the inner rail leaving the backstretch, remained along the rail disputing the pace to mid stretch then gave way. RENNIE prompted the pace outside horses and faltered.
