PALACIOS lacked speed, swung wide mid way on the turn, advanced outside FINNY to take command in mid stretch, was brushed by that one and drew off under brisk urging. FINNY , four deep leaving the backstretch, took the lead and went clear mid way on the turn, drifted out a bit brushing the winner inside the eighth pole and finished gamely. VIDA disputed the early pace between horses and weakened the final furlong. MASTER SCHEMER lacked speed despite urging on the backstretch, swung to the four path entering the stretch and passed tired foes. PENCIL ME IN lacked speed and failed to be a factor. IMPRESSIVENESS , sent early, failed to make the lead, swung wide leaving the turn and gave way. ECONOMIC HEADWINDS made the early lead, dueled along the rail and faltered.
