ZERO BLITZ settled in the clear and well off the inside as a duel developed leaving the far turn, gathered momentum five wide into the lane, shifted out a bit wider and closed in under left handed encouragement, forged to command in deep stretch and prevailed. OTTER MISCHIEF , lightly bumped at the break, was nudged to the front, set a sharp pace in the two path, was joined by CHIPOTLE into the turn, battled on near even terms from the three eighths to mid stretch, regained the advantage while on his left lead with a sixteenth to go, kept on gamely but just could not contain the winner. BOLD DIVERSION , off last when hesitating at the break, regrouped and settled well back off the inside, circled the turn five wide, shifted out to about the seven path and closed in nicely. PASCALINE , urged from the gate, started a run between foes near the three eighths, sustained momentum past mid stretch, angled in then flattened out very late. CHIPOTLE had speed then rated just outside the leader, moved to engage three wide into the turn, dueled through brisk fractions, entered the lane about four wide going noses apart with an OTTER MISCHIEF, held a narrow lead past mid stretch then faded late. PAY BILLY , off the pace while saving ground, eased out into the lane, made a mild run between rivals then failed to sustain. SPOTAFREEONE , bumped and pinched back at the break, recovered but was far back after a quarter mile, was under a ride mid turn, angled out through the drive and finished with interest. TOP BLOOD , bumped at the break, saved ground then steadied when in close near the half, angled out, chased four wide in upper stretch then failed to kick on. LIGHT FOREVER bore out into SPOTAFREEONE leaving the gate, straightened and made a sharp inside run near the five eighths, chased the embattled leaders around the turn then weakened in upper stretch.
