OLEG disputed the pace outside ELLINGER, was confidently handled in upper stretch, responded when asked inside the eighth pole and drew off under a brisk hand ride. WORLD ON FIRE stayed along the inner rail throughout while off the duel and passed tired horses. D HOPPER chased the duel, angled four wide entering the stretch and weakened. ELLINGER saved ground on the turn dueling with the winner, drifted out in upper stretch and weakened. NEW YORK STRONG , outrun, stayed outside horses and drifted to the five path entering the stretch. YERCAN MARO (ARG) was outrun.
