HOPPETOSSE , steadied when bearing in at the start, chased the pace three wide around the turn, secured command in upper stretch and drew off under rousing. SUGAR ON FIRE bore out leaving the starting gate, raced along the inner rail on the turn, eased out approaching the stretch, drifted to the four path in upper stretch, angled in near the sixteenth pole and rallied inside horses. GONZALO , four deep on the turn, chased the pace, was in striking position in upper stretch and flattened out. FLYING TO WORK , checked when pinched back leaving the starting gate, rallied along the inner rail. SCAREDY CATNESS , caught in close quarters leaving the starting gate, chased the pace from the two path and faded. EL PAPACITO broke sharply, quickly went clear, moved to the inner rail mid way down the backstretch, saved ground on the turn and gave way. GO LANG bore out at the start, stayed along the rail on the turn, drifted out in upper stretch and was not a factor.
