Footnotes
LE GRIS assumed the early lead, remained along the rail setting the pace, was set down in upper stretch and eagerly pulled away under brisk urging. OMAHA OMAHA lacked speed, hugged the inner rail mid way on the far turn, eased out entering the stretch and rallied mildly. HAGRID'S FLAME stayed in the two path, chased the winner to the stretch then faded. MAGICAL WAYS , three wide entering the first turn, was taken to the inner rail entering the backstretch, stayed along the rail and faltered turning for home. KING'S RIVER was outrun. PIRATE stumbled leaving the starting gate, circled the first turn four wide, was three deep the far turn and dropped back.
