Footnotes
HANDSINTHEAIR broke inward, corrected and moved up between foes soon after to join the pace fray, vied three deep then outside a rival while confidently handled into and around the turn, cruised clear past the three eighths, opened up under minimal asking from there and proved much the best while geared down late. CROSS OF VALOR rushed up to the inside of rivals leaving the chute to contest the pace, battled with the winner into the turn, stayed around to pursue after that one cleared, kept on with effort and was clearly second best. CHILLY GIRL , four then three wide tracking a contested pace, loomed a danger past the three eighths, wandered outward entering the lane, lugged in to be close to the inner rail leaving the quarter pole and faded. SECRET JOURNEY vied between rivals early, was rated back off the leaders heading to the five eighths, raced three wide into the stretch and weakened. HENRY GONDORFF saved ground off the pace, angled out around the turn and gave way. ALWAYS AUTHENTIC gave early chase outside a rival, faltered around the turn and was being eased in the final furlong.
