DEVASTATING hopped at the break, circled the turn four deep, floated to the five path in upper stretch, closed outside foes, took the lead near the sixteenth pole then drove clear. RUNSWEETLY settled early, raced in the two path entering the turn, moved to three path between horses entering the stretch, rallied between rivals and brushed with MARGARET P near the sixteenth pole. PERSIAN , rated down the backstretch, raced in the three path between horses on the turn, advanced to gain the lead in mid stretch and weakened in the drive. MARGARET P remained along the inner rail throughout, chased the pace, weakened and brushed with RUNSWEETLY near the sixteenth pole. READY FOR MAGIC lacked speed, was in the two path entering the turn, swung to the six path in upper stretch and failed to rally. WUNDERKIND rushed up outside horses leaving the backstretch to take a clear lead, angled in, hugged the inner rail on the turn and tired in upper stretch. SUNFLOWER STATE chased from the two path on the turn and gave way in upper stretch.
