Footnotes
FIRST OFFICER cleared early, set the pace off the inside, drifted to the four path into the lane, corrected with right handed asking, kept on under a drive leaving mid stretch then dug in to deny an inside bid from PENCIL ME IN. PENCIL ME IN , quickly to contention, stalked between foes, shifted in and chased to the inside of a rival around the final turn, ranged up to threaten inside the winner in deep stretch but was kept at bay. GONNA MAKE IT lost ground four wide stalking the winner, was pushed along four wide past the five sixteenths, chased on past mid stretch then came up empty. BOSS LILY rated back off foes in the opening quarter mile, edged up between rivals near the five sixteenths, angled five wide approaching the stretch, shifted back in but lacked a solid finish. RUNAWAY ROOSTER lost ground five wide around the first turn, tapered in some leaving the far turn, angled six wide making some headway nearing the lane then one paced in the final furlong. TRIATHELON broke a step slow, settled off the pace, was sent up between runners around the second turn, chased inside rivals past the three sixteenths then gave way. Q GOT HOPS was steadied along four wide and between rivals from the seven eighths to early backstretch, remained well off the rail into the far turn and weakened. TUG , away alertly, prompted the early pace while saving ground then faltered leaving the far turn.
