NOGRADI stalked the pace outside horses down the backstretch, advanced four deep entering the far turn, took command on the bend and pulled away through the stretch under intermittent urging. CHRISTMAS SPIRIT , five deep entering the first turn, advanced between horses leaving the backstretch to challenge for the lead, was no match for the winner and faded through the stretch. EDELWEISS , three wide entering the fist turn, was well back down the backstretch, moved up along the inner rail mid way on the far turn, swung out at the head of the lane and lacked the necessary rally. DAGUERRE lacked speed, swung out for the stretch run and passed tired horses. IT A LEE raced forwardly in the path on the first turn, chased outside horses down the backstretch and faded leaving the far turn. MUSICAL ENTOURAGE dueled outside BROTHER BOBO for five furlongs, faltered on the far turn and was eased. LEONARDINI , four wide entering the first turn, dropped back leaving the backstretch. BROTHER BOBO hugged the inner rail, disputed the pace to the far turn, faltered and was eased.
