INTREPID'S LEGACY bobbled at the break, regrouped and pulled his way forward while being angled in near the half, shifted back out near the three eighths and circled five wide with progress into the lane, made a grinding run under left handed asks and reeled in the leader near the sixteenth pole, wrested command soon after and was going away at the wire. WINNING TRIP had speed then ceded to an inner foe in the opening furlong, tracked then bid two wide to poke a head in front after a half mile, handled outer pressure from GLUCKSTADT then spurted clear under a drive leaving the three sixteenths, remained on his left lead and gave way grudgingly. GLUCKSTADT rated forwardly while off the inside, edged up and bid three deep near the three eighths, pressed four wide outside WINNING TRIP into the stretch, failed to match strides past the three sixteenths, pursued inside the furlong grounds then came up empty. DAVYJONZ stumbled badly at the break, regrouped and saved ground off the pace, eased out with pursuit near the quarter pole then kept on with some effort. MASAYOSHI , urged along outside DAVYJONZ while three to four wide, shifted out five wide into the stretch then churned on. FORMAL AFFAIR , off the pace, raced three wide into the stretch but lacked a significant response. ELVIS HIMSELF stumbled and was away last, recovered and rushed up along the inside to take over then clear, failed to contain rivals past the three eighths and faltered.
