Footnotes
COMPLEXITY JANE , fractious behind the gate and loaded without her rider, was bumped leaving the gate then squeezed back a bit in the opening sixteenth, regrouped and was firmly taken in hand while off the inside, pulled her way forward four wide nearing the half then responded when given her cue soon after, quickly gained under coaxing past the five sixteenths, ranged up to engage LATE NIGHT CALL nearing the eighth pole, exchanged contact multiple times as that one wandered outward, dueled, gained a slim advantage leaving the sixteenth pole, kept on under right handed encouragement while drifting out for a few strides, was soundly bumped near the wire and grittily prevailed. LATE NITE CALL cleared early, set the pace toward the inside, widened nearing the far turn, maintained command under a hustling ride into the stretch, drifted out under left handed asking making contact with the winner when engaged a furlong out, battled head to head exchanging brushes, came out very late bumping the winner and just missed in a sharp try. THE SKY IS FALLING drafted back off the pace leaving the seven eighths and saved ground, angled out mid way through the backstretch run, gathered steam and circled four wide into the stretch, straightened and churned on. DOCTOR ABBIE broke outward and was away a step slow, lagged back, started a run under asking leaving the far turn, circled five wide into the stretch and finished with effort. AUDIBLY , bumped and pinched back at the break, regrouped and trailed to the far turn, saved ground into the lane and had a belated response. SULTRY LASS eased out early and edged up two wide to track the leader, was under a hearty ride pursuing three wide into the stretch, failed to kick on in mid stretch and faded. BAILINTIN , four then three wide between runners early, dropped inside nearing the far turn and weakened. LUTE WARM , five wide outside rivals into the first turn, lost ground four wide into the backstretch, chased three wide nearing the far turn and weakened. DI'S SURPRISE broke inward bumping with AUDIBLY, corrected and edged up between foes, was rated back off rivals heading to the seven eighths then angled in, failed to kick on leaving the far turn and retreated.
