ARTIST MARK , brushed at the break, showed speed along the inside and vied early, rated back off the clearing leader near the five eighths, came back on with a rail bid to poke a head in front into the turn, sparred under confident handling past the five sixteenths, opened up after being set down in upper stretch then held sway late while kept alert. BLO BY'EM broke a beat slow from the inside, settled off the pace while saving some ground, angled out heading to the turn, was ridden four wide past the three eighths, angled six wide into the stretch, was bumped by an inner rival when advancing in mid stretch, remained on his left lead and closed steadily. WHO SAYS SO , brushed at the break, tracked in hand and off the rail, was hard ridden chasing past the five sixteenths but failed to drum up a serious run. D HOPPER vied outside the winner early on the pulled clear after a quarter mile, set the pace off the rail then was re engaged from his inside near the half, dueled under coaxing mid turn, wandered out to about the five path into the lane, drifted again bumping the runner up in mid stretch then weakened. UNCLE GREY chased outside a rival and faded nearing the lane. OLLIE BOY saved ground and faded. HALF A LEAGUE bobbled at the break, dropped back off the pace, was under a ride off the inside into the turn but failed to respond.
