LITTLE LANCE stalked the pace from the two path on the turn, took the lead outside BACKNTHEWOODS in mid stretch and drew clear. LADDIE DANCE , caught in close quarters soon after the start, worked between horses on the turn, swung to the five path in upper stretch and closed outside horses. PROM KNIGHT raced in the three path on the turn and rallied between horses. BEACH COWBOY , a forward factor in the three path around the turn, flattened out. BACKNTHEWOODS sprinted to the early lead and was taken to the inner rail leaving the backstretch, stay prominent to mid stretch and tired. BIGDADDYSBOY lacked speed, angled out from behind horses in mid stretch and lacked the necessary response. MISTER AGENT stayed along the inner rail on the turn and weakened. UNIWINNER remained along the inner rail most of the trip and was not a factor. STRIKING SPARKS was outrun. THE WOLFMAN , forced in by BLACK CANDY leaving the starting gate, chased the pace, raced in the two path on the turn and weakened. BLACK CANDY bore in leaving the starting gate, steadied in traffic entering the turn, swung very wide at the head of the stretch and was no factor.
