Footnotes
SUPERLASTINGSECRET leaned in at the break brushing a rival, corrected and prompted the pace two wide, stayed in touch under a ride mid turn, was fanned four wide into the lane, went on the attack soon after, wrested command inside the furlong grounds, kicked clear under a drive then held sway while switching over to the left lead. RAILROAD INN , off the pace, steadied when in close entering the turn, regrouped and saved ground into the stretch, split rivals with an advance near mid stretch, shifted back in and finished gamely to nab the place. NORTHERN CARDINAL broke inward bumping a foe, corrected and sped clear early, set the pace towards the inside, drifted out three wide under asking into the lane, failed to contain to the winner leaving mid stretch then faded late. SHOWPIECE , off the pace while saving ground, eased out into the lane, worked between foes, failed to seriously go on past mid stretch but did keep on with effort. QUAHOG REPUBLIC , brushed at the break, chased off the inside, moved between foes near the quarter pole, angled about five wide in upper stretch, made some progress near the sixteenth marker then flattened out. FURIOUS GEORGE , four to six wide, was under a hustling ride into the stretch but lacked a rally. APOLAUSTIC lagged back off the pace, raced off the rail into the stretch and offered a mild response between horses. FINAL OFFER edged up to the inside of a rival near the half to be close, saved ground with aim into the stretch, failed to kick on under pressure past the three sixteenths and faded. FREEDOM GLIDER , forwardly placed from the outside nearing the turn, took closer order under a ride and three to four wide mid turn, lacked a response soon into the lane and weakened. BOLD MIRAGE stumbled badly at the break, raced off the pace, angled out around the turn, raced very wide in the drive but failed to menace. BAND TOUR , bumped at the break, saved ground and failed to respond.
