SKIP THRU DA FIRE chased the duel, was fanned four wide entering the stretch, bid for the lead near the eighth pole, battled outside WATCH YOUR TONE and prevailed in an extended drive. WATCH YOUR TONE saved ground on the turn, moved to the three path at the head of the stretch, challenged for the lead between horses in mid stretch, battled inside the winner and just missed in a sharp effort. LOST RIVER hugged the inner rail, disputed the pace and weakened the final furlong. STORMY IRISH LASS lacked speed, hugged the inner rail on the turn, angled out in mid stretch, weakened and passed tired horses. MISS STONES disputed the early pace outside LOST RIVER and weakened in mid stretch. ROYAL SEAMSTRESS stalked the duel, circled the turn three to four wide and faltered. PERMED was outrun.
