Footnotes
WYOMING CLASS broke a bit inward, corrected then settled off the leading pair while saving ground, crept closer under coaxing mid turn, angled and circled four wide into the lane, closed in steadily under a drive, wrested command from an inner BRIGHTY with about a sixteenth to go, asserted himself late and edged clear. BRIGHTY , under snug rating three wide prompting the pace, moved alongside the leader with a half mile remaining, poked a head in front mid turn, spurted clear under urging into the stretch, dug in when confronted nearing the sixteenth pole then, fought on to deep stretch then gave way grudgingly. ROBERT'S MOON cleared early then was a bit headstrong and difficult to settle, relaxed better heading to the turn then was collared by an outer BRIGHTY, sparred past the three eighths, failed to match strides into the lane and faded.
