Footnotes
CHURNING BERNI stalked from outside mid-pack, made an early move late up the backstretch to apply pressure, took the lead passing the seven-sixteenths, drew away while drifting out in the stretch, was much the best. ZEN DREAMS settled outside at the rear, advanced two to three wide on the far turn, was no match for the winner but second best. ZETA JONES stalked the pace from off the inside, drifted out leaving the far turn, lacked the needed late kick. BESHAREIT broke a bit awkwardly, angled in and saved ground inside at the rear, came into upper stretch four wide, was never near enough to threaten. ITHADTOBEBLU was urged forward and quick to take the lead shifting in, set the pace in the clear, was challenged into the far turn, gave way. HYSTERICS switched out off the rail entering the first turn, moved back nearer the fence chasing inside, angled out at the nine-sixteenths, was asked to keep pace on the far turn racing four to five deep but had no response.
