Footnotes
VANILLA SUNDAE broke a bit awkwardly, moved forward inside up the backstretch, was shuffled back at the half, switched out near the three-eighths, swung five wide into upper stretch, lugged in a bit, took aim, surged late to get up. BUCKIN' RIGHT was up close in hand, bid between foes past the half taking the lead, edged clear on the turn, widened in upper stretch, was reeled in late but clearly second best. LUMINOUS SECRET bobbled at the start, settled toward the rear, saved some ground early on the turn moving out two wide to pass a tiring rival at the five-sixteenths, ran on in the stretch to be best of the rest while no threat to the top pair. WEEKEND WIFE was in just a bit tight at the start, settled into stride at the back and outside, moved out from four to seven wide turning for home and ran on. MISCHIEF MOTION shifted in up the backstretch, raced two wide into the turn at the back, came out six wide in the stretch, went evenly. SWEET HONEY BEE chased from outside four to six wide and was never a threat. MAP TO THE MOON chased three to five wide, steadied slightly past the three-eighths dropping back between foes, faded. A P M NOTION was up close in pursuit of the lead, made a brief bid outside three to four wide but faltered and faded. CENTSAMILLA was quick to take the lead, set the pace inside on or just off the rail, steadied slightly entering the turn, came up empty.
