WITT'S TAQUITO was bumped at the start, then track the pace from the inside, remained nicely rated on the far turn, then dug in in the early stretch to split rivals and take command and held on well to the wire. RODEO CHAMP showed the way into the first turn, then dueled with an outer rival down the backstretch and into the far turn, re gained command at the quarter marker, was in a long drive then was out finished in the final yards and was best for second place. DRIVEHAPPY was brushed at the start, saved ground in the early furlongs, then came out four wide leaving the far turn to rally in the stretch and was up for third place. MOR LANA SPIRIT brushed rival at the start, was rank on the first turn before tracking the pace while two wide down the backstretch and into the far turn, then rallied mildly in the late stretch but it was not enough in the end. TED was forwardly placed into the first turn to duel with an inner rival down the backstretch, was in a long drive then gave way after the far turn. SHAMAYIM drifted inward and bumped rival, then tracked the pace while three wide down the backstretch, menaced leaving the far turn then flattened out in the stretch. CLIFF DIVER trailed early and failed to rally. VARNISHED was no factor.
