Footnotes
CHICKA CHICK settled in third position not far from MIGHTY ENTICING on the front end, slipped through an opening on the rail near the three-furlong pole, got first run in the sprint to the finish line, and held that rival at bay. MIGHTY ENTICING seized the early lead as the field lined up behind, raced in the two-path, leaving an opening along the inside, dug in when challenged by CHICK CHICKA near the three-furlong pole, but had that rival get first turn, chased determinedly through the lane but came up short in the end. BELMIRA showed good speed from the break but settled in the three-path behind MIGHTY ENTICING to the far turn, was briefly involved in the sprint to the finish but could not keep up in the late stages. FAST LANE ONLY bobbled at the start, fell behind early and trailed throughout.
