Footnotes
TIZ GRACE raced in the middle of the field down the backstretch, moved up four-wide midway through the turn, then finished well under strong handling and intermittent urging to be along in time. SERIOUS ROCK rushed up to join the early pace mix on the inside, took sole command of the lead with three furlongs to run, had a clear lead turning for home, but could not hold off the winner in the final yards. COPPER WIND contested the early pace from between horses, continued on to chase SERIOUS ROCK into the stretch, but could not find another gear when needed in the stretch and had to settle for the minor award. WHISKEY HIGH broke in a tangle and spotted the field a head start, gradually worked back into the race going up the backstretch, hugged the rail through the turn to get in range at the top of the stretch, but could not sustain the run through the last furlong. STORM AFTER DARK tracked three-wide in the second flight, lost position on the turn, dropped down to the rail, but lacked a finish. CARLY'S SHANCE was outrun after the start, chased the field racing in the three-path, continued wide around the far turn and was unable to improve. BANK ON DAISY pressed the early pace three-wide, weakened under a drive approaching the quarter pole, and had nothing to offer in the stretch.
