TOM SAWYER was a bit slow to get going but moved up to duel with THE DEVIL'S BE through the turn, took command in upper stretch, and drew off in the late stages. SILVER ASSASSIN broke on top but was overtaken by THE DEVIL'S BET at the half, dropped back to join I'M A DUDE TO into the turn, then made a nice late run to gain second. I'M A DUDE TO hustled up to join SILVER ASSASSIN in the initial furlong, dropped back with that one to track the new leaders, was kept to task late but could only pass the tiring early leader. THE DEVIL'S BET rushed up after a slow start to take the lead at the half, dueled inside of TOM SAWYER throughout the turn, then could not go with that one in the stretch and tired.
