Footnotes
BAKER HAYFIELD was bumped hard after the start, nearly unseating the rider, settled near the back early, advanced up the backstretch, went three-wide through the far turn, put in a good run down the stretch, and was up in the final jumps. EXPO CITY hesitated, then took a slight hop at the break, got caught two or three wide turning from the chute onto the main course, raced close up then bid three-wide into the stretch, got a head in front late but was unable to last. TYLER'S TURN was unhurried at the back early, got bottled up on the far turn, but ran on in the late stages once clear, and managed to claim the third prize. QUALITY STYLE tracked close up three-wide, launched a bid late on the far turn, loomed boldly in upper stretch, battled gamely, but yielded late. UPTONO BUENA settled in mid-pack, kept to the inside paths, and was mildly closing the gap in the late stages. INDY ROAD sped off to lead by open lengths, tried to shake free on the far turn but was overtaken in upper stretch, fought back gamely, but was outfinished. ETERNAL MISCHIEF raced between rivals in the second flight, then weakened in deep stretch. FRIDAY NIGHT FEVER broke off-balance, tracked three-wide early, came into the stretch on the wrong lead and faltered. WITHERING GAZE got shut off by the outside rival at the start, steadied and spotted the field a head start, raced three-wide throughout and chased near the back. LEXI'S COMEBACK ducked in sharply after the start, taking out the two inside rivals, was three wide as the field turned on to the main course, chased close up to the runaway leader through the early stages, then faltered in the stretch.
