Footnotes
PUT A ROCK ON IT was allowed to settle early on racing in hand, made a three wide bid near the quarter pole to challenged and proved best late under strong handling. COMPETITIVE THREAT (IRE) stalked the pace along the inside, tipped out three wide through the drive and finished gamely to the wire. C W CHARM settled early to race near the back, made a good rail bid around the far turn through the stretch and showed good late interest. LADY OF THE NILE veered out sharply at the break, raced with the second flight, moved up four wide into the upper stretch and was even with no late closing bid. TOMMIE G showed good early along the inside and weakened through the drive. CRUEL raced five to six wide into the upper stretch and had no late rally. SUGAR HILL dropped back to race mid pack, in tight quarters just past the quarter pole and never was a factor. MISS MOZETTI tracked the early leader two deep in hand and gave way.
