Footnotes
MALIBU RAIN broke well, went quickly to the front, opened up on the field, maintained a clear advantage throughout, and held safe to the wire under a mild hand ride. UPWARD MOBILITY got caught four-wide on the first turn, continued down the backstretch, settled well off the pace, came under a ride and moved up to the second position on the far turn, and chased the winner through the stretch, clear of the rest of the field, pulled up quickly after the finish line, was vetted and trasported from the track in the equine ambulance. . REDDINGANDLEE settled inside with the second flight and stayed on to gain the minor award. ELLS broke a step slow, was three wide at the back of the second group, dropped to last late on the backstretch run, then outfinished tired rivals while never a serious threat. RIPSTER raced three-wide with the chasing pack to the far turn, started to lose ground and came under urging, but did not respond with a rally. EUROROCKSTAR was held up at the back through the first turn, but pulled the rider to the front of the tracking group, came under right-handed urging near the three-furlong pole, but did not respond.
