INITIALIZE broke alertly, showed speed and disputed the early pace outside of STAYED IN FOR HALF, dueled through solid fractions nearing the quarter marker, took a narrow lead into the final furlong, shook free of STAYED IN FOR HALF into the final sixteenth and proved best late. STAYED IN FOR HALF off a half-step slowly, sent to contest the early pace from inside of INITIALIZE, dueled that rival through quick fractions nearing the quarter marker, battled to mid-stretch then was turned away into the final sixteenth, grudgingly yielded to the winner in deep stretch and bested the rest. TRUST DADDY off a step slowly, settled in the early stages, saved ground nearing the quarter marker and kept an inside path to the stretch, made a mild late rally and held well for the show. INNOVA off slowly, recovered and was coaxed three wide into the turn, got floated out to the four path into upper stretch, lacked a final kick and just missed for third. AVAILABLE STAR allowed to settle, saved ground into the turn, trailed to upper stretch, angled out for the drive but could not find the needed late response. THAT'S RIGHT prominent away from the start, pressed the early pace from the inside, took back approaching the turn, chased the leading pair two to three wide to upper stretch, could not muster the needed response at mid-stretch and weakened.
