Footnotes
COWGIRL DREAM unhurried early on, saved ground while trailing into the turn, advanced nearing the quarter pole, angled four wide to upper stretch, responded well in the lane, surged in the final sixteenth and was up in time. LET HER BE broke alertly, ceded the early lead then tracked the pace four deep along the backstretch, chased the pacesetter three wide nearing the quarter, vied into the final furlong, fought between rivals into the final sixteenth, was game to deep stretch then outfinished in the final strides, while just holding for second. MY CONQUEST settled while saving ground in the early running, advanced into the turn, waited a bit for racing room midway through the turn, tipped out and split rivals to upper stretch, vied between foes into the lane and held a narrow lead into the final sixteenth, was outfinished for the win and place in deep stretch and was well clear of the rest for the show. WITTS OPULENT LADY had a shoe repair prior to the start, broke a bit slowly then hustled to contest the early pace, assumed command then showed the way into the turn, set a decent pace to the quarter marker and led to upper stretch, overtaken past the furlong pole, faded in the late stages. FOR THE HOME FRONT bobbled at the start then settled off of the early pace, was coaxed between rivals while in the second flight along the backstretch, ran in pursuit two wide into the turn, angled out nearing the quarter marker, asked for run four to five wide into the lane, flattened out in the late stages. BELLA BLU MOON hard sent from the gate, chased the early pace three deep and between runners, dropped back nearing the quarter pole, could not find more into the stretch drive and gave way. MIDNIGHT BREEZE close up to the early pace, pressed two wide into the turn, lost ground nearing the quarter marker, could not find more into upper stretch and tired. CLAIRE'S CURLIN bobbled at the start, rated off of the early pace then settled in the second flight, ridden two to three wide along the turn, trailed to upper stretch, no late response.
