Footnotes
YO SOY ROY reserved in the early stages, roused between rivals and two wide into the turn, bid three wide to upper stretch, drifted out under left handed urging and floated out a rival into the lane, took command into the final furlong, drove clear late while kept to task. MR JAWS sent to assume early command, set a pressured pace while two wide into the turn, led to the quarter marker then dug in into upper stretch, overtaken by YO SOY ROY at the furlong grounds, could not keep pace with the winner to the final sixteenth but saved second. CHAMPAGNE STOOPER allowed to settle early on, gained ground while widest into the turn, coaxed four wide to the quarter marker, got floated to the five to six path into upper stretch, recovered and stayed on to the final sixteenth, could not match strides late with the winner and just missed for second. PAINTED LAD was forwardly placed in the early going, went up to press the pace from the inside heading into the turn, disputed the pace to the quarter, chased into upper stretch then outkicked at the furlong grounds, could not find more to the final sixteenth and weakened late. SAMSPLAYERSLOUNGE hustled leaving the start, tracked the early leaders along the backstretch, saved ground into the turn then lost ground nearing the quarter marker, lacked a response to upper stretch, tired in the lane.
