WHISKEY HIGH off a step slowly, showed good speed away from the start and took early command, dictated terms through moderate fractions into the turn, kicked clear to upper stretch, drew off into the final furlong, held sway to the final sixteenth and was geared down late to win as much the best. RECLUSIVE was forwardly placed in the early running, took back and was well placed while saving ground approaching the turn, kept an inside path to the quarter pole, chased from the inside to upper stretch, was no match for the winner into the drive, fought on and held well late for second. TIZ THE SPIRIT away in good order, rated off of the early pace and tracked from outside of rivals along the backstretch, rushed three wide into the turn then chased WHISKEY HIGH nearing the quarter pole, could not keep pace with the winner into the stretch, was outfinished for second in the late stages and was a clear third. BLUSHING BELLE close up in the early stages, stalked the pace two wide and between rivals into the turn, lost ground nearing the quarter marker, could not find more into the stretch and gave way. SHOW ME THE CANDY unhurried in the early running, trailed into the turn, kept an inside path to the stretch, shifted out into the final furlong but failed to threaten late. ANGEL KISS crowded then squeezed back at the start, settled off of the early pace, coaxed outside of rivals heading to the turn, ran in pursuit four wide to the quarter marker, lacked the needed response into the stretch and weakened in the drive.
