BRAHMS BOY broke well to set the pace, was cued along the inside midway around the turn, and drew away in the two path down the lane. COMPETITIVE IDEA chased from the rail, was roused passing the quarter, could not keep up with the winner, but ran on from the three path in the stretch to be second best. BIG EFFECT tracked between foes in the three path, was ridden around the turn, and kept on in the four path down the lane for show. HALO RANDO had a slow start and trailed, was cued from the three path passing the quarter, tipped out to the five path passing the furlong grounds, and finished willingly. LITE RANCHIN KID stalked in the four path, was cued between foes midway around the turn, but faded in the five path down the stretch. PLAY RULE chased out in the five path and did not threaten. RACE AROUND was prompted from in range in the two path but gave way in the stretch.
