HAND IT OVER broke well, then tucked in along the rail tracking the dueling leaders, moved up, deftly navigated around a tiring NOW HEAR THIS near the quarter pole, cut the corner into the stretch, and finished up well under steady handling to win clear. YOUR CALL dueled to the outside of NOW HEAR THIS through stiff fractions, had the winner get first run into the stretch, but kept on well to save the place. BELMIRA got caught wide into the clubhouse turn, settled in mid-pack along the inside, advanced through the far turn, and finished with good interest up the inside to gain third. HOLLYWOODBOULEVARD had good early speed but ceded the front to the dueling leaders, settled well off that pace in third position down the backstretch, launched a bid for the lead approaching the quarter pole, came out three wide but flattened a bit in the late stages. CRUEL was not asked for speed from the break, settled in at the back early, started a forward move after passing the half-mile pole, was not doing enough in the late stages to be a threat, but mildly improved. KAMIKAZE raced mid-pack three-wide and was outfinished in the final furlong. TAPS MISTRESS raced three-wide at the back, went one-paced through the stretch, and unable to improve. MISS SUNDAZE raced inside at the back and faded in the stretch. CAPETOWN CANDY veered out at the start, was three-wide at the back and had nothing to offer late. NOW HEAR THIS duelded inside of YOUR CALL through the early stages, weakened and gave way readily approaching the quarter pole, and was eased to the wire when hopelessly behind.
